Gets is part of the fabulous Portes du Soleil ski area, with an
enormous 650kms of high altitude slopes in France and Switzerland. In
2006 Les Gets was awarded the "Famille Plus Montagne" quality label,
guaranteeing everything a family could need - from activities for
children of all ages to family friendly hotels and restaurants.
Skiing & Snowboarding in Les Gets
Les Gets is renowned for its’ suitability for family skiing and
snowboarding holidays. The resort enjoys a friendly laid back
atmosphere and getting to the slopes is easy. The ski and board school
is very good and naturally English speaking. A good network of beginner
trails extends over the resort and offers hassle free and easy skiing
which ends up back at one base point and needs no drag lifts!
Les Gets is suitable for all skiing levels and offers wide motorway
style pistes making general skiing and progress very easy for
intermediates and families. There are also some steeper more
challenging runs and mogul fields up at Pointe de Nyon which happens to
be one of the best descents in the whole Portes Du Soleil ski area..

Les Gets Childcare 6 months - 4 Years
“Les
Fripouilles” welcomes children between the ages of 6 months and 4
years, in the Maison des Gets, every day of the week except Saturday,
during the ski. Qualified staff supervise the children during indoor
activities (drawing, painting, water games, story-telling, etc.) and as
they discover the joys of snow in the little garden.

Les Gets Childcare 4-12 Years
An
activities club welcomes young skiers, aged 4 to 12, before or after
their ski class ; ski lessons are included (Club Fantaski or group
lessons). Children are accepted for full or half days (a midday meal is
provided at a nearby restaurant).In complete cooperation with the ski
instructors of the Ecole de Ski Français, the team of qualified
staff will involve your little champions in indoor or outdoor
games,depending on the weather conditions:games in the snow, sledding,
walks, games, reading, videos, indoor activities…Your chidren
are welcome even if they don’t ski
